In their other life, Katja Ken is a banker with heart and soul. They love numbers, regularity, and the smell of paper. In compensation for such an orderly life, they very often escape into the fantastic world of TV shows and, even more often, into the world of a damn good book. It was only a matter of time until they found their way into the world of publishing. Simply the reading of books was no longer enough.
As a realistic person, Katja Ken was aware their own writing would, unfortunately, always read like a business letter. What to do? Luckily, due to their passion, it was then that they were discovered as a beta reader for various authors and a perfect candidate to do submission reading.
Along the way, Katja Ken does the finances and taxes for the Queer Pack team. Katja Ken identifies as feminist, non-binary, lesbian and genderqueer. And that journey will go on…

G Benson aka Gabby is a travel lover, a word lover, and very much a cat lover. You can normally find her with her laptop, a coffee, and most likely procrastinating. Originally from Australia, she now lives in Spain, eating all the tapas available, and desperately missing the ocean. But the mountains are close by, and a love of the ocean is quickly being challenged by a love of the snow. She can be found falling down mountaintops and pretending it’s snowboarding.
Gabby is the author of six books featuring lesbian, pansexual, and bisexual women. Passionate about diversity in every facet of life, Benson is delighted to be a part of the Queer Pack team. She herself is a bisexual woman who is loving the term pansexual.

Melanie Czarnik (she/her/he/him) |

Melanie has been working for a psychiatric publishing house in Cologne for over ten years and because she/he apparently can’t get enough of books, she/he likes to do translations and editing of queer stories on the side.
When she/he is not traveling the world with her/his border terrier Dobby, she/he uses the time for sports (gladly weird obstacle courses) or other heart projects, like self-assertion programs for traumatized women and queer people.
Melanie identifies more as he than she or they and more as gay than lesbian. All pronouns are ok, though. One could just say Melanie is queer and dances a bit on the spectrum line.

Media & Design
Sam loves doing almost everything involving new media, e.g. layout, formatting, and using all kinds of weird Adobe software. Other than that, they like watching US-American television, especially fictional drama and comedy, and especially with queer main characters.
Growing up in Northern Germany, Sam has lived in Offenbach near Frankfurt am Main for quite a few years now. Sadly, they miss the ocean very much, so if you want to make Sam happy send them to a peaceful location overlooking the sea.
While rather reticent in “real” life, they love their queer Instagram and Tik Tok bubbles. Sam identifies as non-binary, trans, gray-ace, disabled, a relationship anarchist, and last but not least as a TV-holic.
